THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
1. Remove existing lawn
Using a sod cutter we dig the soil out to a depth of approximately 2-3 inches - the artificial grass will need to sit approximately 1/2 inch above any edging.
2. Install a weed barrier
To prevent weeds from growing through the turf, we lay a sheet of weed-surpressing membrane underneath your artificial grass.
3. Add decomposed granite
We apply a thin aggregate layer of decomposed granite over the weed barrier, compact it using a sub-compactor to create a solid base. This layer will provide you with a firm, well-draining surface that will support the rest of the material.
4. Add the artificial grass
We add the artificial grass of your choice, cutting around walkways, cement, gardens, etc., and add turf spikes to secure it.
